Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22584 p4p, 22661 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 131 - 30 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 141 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter A wants it to stay on the feet. A counter left hand to the body from Fighter A misses its target. Fighter A drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter A controls the position. Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face as Fighter A controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B tries to buck Fighter A off but Fighter A is having none of it. Fighter A working the ground and pound from side control. Fighter B trying to remain calm as Fighter A controls from the top position. Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter B or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter A, which made it look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter B goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Fighter B closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fighter A quickly recovers to half guard. Fighter A is positioning himself well to prevent Fighter B advancing to mount. Fighter B thows a huge punch but Fighter A dodges it nicely.
Fighter B missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fighter B looks to land a strike but Fighter A avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fighter B cracks Fighter A with a solid left hand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fighter A loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fighter A's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fighter B working a defensive guard here.
Fighter B has his hands on Fighter A's head, controlling the position. Fighter A content to stall in guard here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. A thudding body kick lands there by Fighter B!
Fighter A defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter B. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter B misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A has one of Fighter B's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom here. Fighter A tries to improve position but can't. Fighter A on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter B sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fighter A is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fighter B fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Fighter B throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Fighter B lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fighter A down.
Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. Fighter A is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A shoots for a takedown but Fighter B saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fighter B counters with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A misses with a body kick. As Fighter A backs off Fighter B throws a huge counter combo but Fighter A manages to avoid it all. Fighter A misses with a body kick. Fighter B fails with the takedown and Fighter A counters with a nice body kick.
Fighter A walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fighter B.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter A sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter A sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter B somewhat. Fighter A went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A gets caught flat footed, as Fighter B shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Fighter A is looking to land body kicks. Fighter B darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter A gets double underhooks and turns Fighter B into the cage. Fighter B shoots in but Fighter A avoids the takedown attempt easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter A sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B tries to land a body kick and Fighter A counters with a good, hard body kick but Fighter B shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into Fighter B's guard. Fighter A engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fighter B will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Fighter A stays in close to Fighter B's body and controls the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter A being controlled here momentarily. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Fighter B controls Fighter A momentarily but Fighter A frees himself. Fighter A slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fighter A displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter B.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter B enables Fighter A to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter B manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fighter A scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
