Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Blair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angelo Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Martinez working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Martinez is nestled in close to Blair, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Martinez looks to land a strike but Blair avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Martinez passes Blair's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Martinez looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Martinez connects with a nice short shot to Blair's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martinez drops an elbow to the side of Blair's head.

Martinez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Oh Blair is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blair is breathing heavily.
Martinez lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Blair quite badly. Blair pulls Martinez in close trying to recover. Martinez postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Blair on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Blair doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angelo Martinez!
