Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Massiel Tomás!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryobi Sansho!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomás scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sansho throws a lazy uppercut
and Tomás counters with a right hand to the body.
A shot to the body from Sansho misses
and Tomás counters with a straight right hand.
Sansho throws a right hand that Tomás ducks under and follows up with a left that Tomás also avoids with ease.
A shot to the body from Sansho misses
letting Tomás counter with a right hand.
A punch combination from Sansho misses.
Tomás swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sansho rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sansho takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sansho throws a nice looking combination but Tomás bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tomás shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sansho eats them both and turns towards Tomás to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sansho throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tomás counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sansho misses with a left hand
and Tomás counters with a straight right hand.
Sansho takes one to the side of the head.
Tomás ducks under a wild hook from Sansho.
Tomás went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Tomás lands with an overhand left.
Sansho misses with a few strikes there.
It looks like Tomás has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Sansho takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sansho misses with a right hand
and Tomás connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sansho is rocked!
Tomás lands a head shot.
Sansho is still on wobbly legs! Can Tomás finish him?
Sansho falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tomás counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Sansho has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Massiel Tomás!
