Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Saekenpai Fairtex (ranked 4031 p4p, 3846 weight class) and Hwang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Saekenpai Fairtex!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hwang Lee!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex gets a clinch.
Fairtex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fairtex keeps the fight on the outside.
Fairtex throws a body shot but no joy.
Fairtex circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee drives through and clinches with Fairtex against the cage.

Fairtex shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fairtex has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Fairtex's legs - danger averted.

Fairtex is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.

Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fairtex changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Fairtex manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lee has had enough of the clinch but Fairtex keeps him there for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fairtex has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lee uses from the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Saekenpai Fairtex will probably get the nod.
