Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Frazier (ranked 2640 p4p, 4035 weight class) and Jimmy Crute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dwayne Frazier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Crute!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Frazier.

Crute throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Frazier was covering up waiting for the punch and Crute finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Crute trying to control but Frazier is working from the bottom.
Frazier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Crute tries to stand but Frazier is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crute missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Crute won't allow Frazier to sweep him here.
Crute passes Frazier's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Crute trying to advance position but Frazier counters by regaining guard.
Crute in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Crute wants to work for an arm triangle but Frazier is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Crute trying to mount his opponent but Frazier defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crute moves into full mount! Frazier won't be happy about that!
Crute is looking to stand but Frazier has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Crute wants to control the pace but Frazier is squirming around nicely.
Frazier is looking to improve his position but Crute isn't that keen on the idea.

Crute unloads with some shots from mount but Frazier bucks and avoids them well.
Frazier keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Frazier is squirming around, avoiding Crute's attempts to control the action.
Crute fails to move to back control.
Crute trying to control but Frazier is having none of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Crute postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Frazier looks a forlorn figure.

Crute has control of Frazier's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Frazier regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Crute thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Frazier shoots in and drives through. Crute sprawls well.
Jimmy Crute is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Frazier closes the distance and pushes Crute back into the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Frazier.

Frazier gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Crute regains guard.
Frazier looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Crute is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frazier lands a couple of digs.

Frazier's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Crute has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Frazier avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Frazier slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Crute tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Frazier is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Frazier seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Crute for as long as he can get away with.
Frazier tries to free his leg and advance position but Crute is retaining full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Frazier fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crute avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Frazier. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Crute tries to keep at a distance but Frazier has taken the fight into the clinch.
Crute wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frazier has him pressed against the cage.

Frazier has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Crute regains guard immediately.
Crute not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Frazier controlling from the top position.
Crute wants to stand but Frazier is controlling the position.
Frazier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crute swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Frazier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crute on the ground.
Crute is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Crute tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dwayne Frazier dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Crute closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Crute lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crute accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Frazier utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Crute sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frazier's guard.

Crute is keen to just control but Frazier is a slippery customer.
Crute passes into side control, despite Frazier's attempt to control the position.
Frazier tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crute wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Crute is looking to take a break and control but Frazier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jimmy Crute has got the better of the ground game so far.
Frazier is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Crute wants to control but Frazier is keeping him busy.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Frazier fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Crute leaves Frazier with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Crute throws a jab but it's blocked by Frazier.
Frazier looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crute is fending him off so far but Frazier persists. Nope, Crute circles away and we're back to standing.
Crute is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Frazier. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Crute drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Frazier throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crute wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frazier keeps working.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Frazier wants to control but Crute postures up.
Crute scores with a couple of short elbows.

Crute is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Frazier has escaped the position, nice work there.
Frazier taking a bit of punishment here - Crute scoring with strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Frazier is not content to let Crute control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jimmy Crute comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Crute has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
