Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dude Dudeson (ranked 1843 p4p, 2567 weight class) and Grand Admiral Thrawn (ranked 243 p4p, 323 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dude Dudeson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grand Admiral Thrawn!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudeson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thrawn throws a fast counter high kick but Dudeson manages to duck under it in time.
Thrawn tries to sprawl but Dudeson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Thrawn moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dudeson throwing strikes but missing.
Dudeson trying to control the position from guard on top but Thrawn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thrawn wants to stand and escape but Dudeson is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dudeson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dudeson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Thrawn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Thrawn controls Dudeson momentarily but Dudeson frees himself.
Dudeson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thrawn is keeping the position for now.
Dudeson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Dudeson postures up in Thrawn's guard and throws a big left but Thrawn blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Thrawn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dudeson is controlling him.
Dudeson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Thrawn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dudeson controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dudeson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thrawn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dudeson tries to advance to mount but can't.
Thrawn manages to get back to half guard.
Dudeson trying to control from half guard but Thrawn is working away.
Thrawn scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dudeson manages to mount him!
A nice elbow there by Dudeson.

Thrawn wants to control but Dudeson is having none of it.
Thrawn is desperately trying to improve his position but Dudeson has a good base and remains in mount.
Dudeson cracks Thrawn with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dude Dudeson!
A very excited looking Dude Dudeson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
