Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bubba Dukes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuujiro Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Dukes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies in the buildup to the fight.
Dukes lands a nice hook to Hanma's body. Hanma takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hanma on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dukes. Dukes obviously looking to wear him down.
Hanma changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dukes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dukes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hanma is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Hanma has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hanma loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dukes scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hanma land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hanma stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuujiro Hanma!
