Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Curtis (ranked 4964 p4p, 3610 weight class) and Rodney Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Curtis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rodney Bates!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curtis looks to land a left hand but Bates moved out of range nicely.

Bates turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bates manages to end up in side control.

Curtis dives in and grabs Bates's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bates pushes down on Curtis's head and hops out.

Curtis lands a really nice looking cross but Bates seems unphased.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lucas Curtis will probably get the nod.
