The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Tijhoff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Prochazka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tijhoff somewhat. Tijhoff is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prochazka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Prochazka tries to counter with a takedown but Tijhoff is quick to defend against it. Tijhoff has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Tijhoff doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Prochazka counters with a shoot takedown. Tijhoff fights it but they end up in guard. And that's the end of the fight! Prochazka takes the fight on points by 5 to 0. After winning the bout, Yuri Prochazka thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. |
