And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 3 losses; Saul Hunter! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Blue shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunter as he avoids it easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Blue has his hands on Hunter's head, controlling the position. Blue might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Blue is working hard here to advance position. Hunter is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Blue will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Hunter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Let's hope that Hunter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Blue is looking for a sweep. And that's the end of the fight! Hunter wins on points by 5 to 0. A relieved looking Saul Hunter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
