Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fabinho Tavares (ranked 4768 p4p, 25288 weight class) and Arthur Horton (ranked 402 p4p, 469 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabinho Tavares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Horton!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Watson and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horton moves away.
A head kick misses from Tavares.
Horton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tavares counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Horton tries for a takedown but Tavares sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Horton fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tavares to the ground. Horton is now in Tavares's guard.
Horton stops Tavares from standing up.
Horton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tavares not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Horton working some strikes from top position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horton sitting in guard here, content to control.
Tavares looking for a sweep. Not yet Tavares, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horton throws a big right hand that misses.
Horton drops back looking for a leg! Tavares is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tavares manages to kick Horton off! Horton jumps back into Tavares's guard.
Horton wants to control from the top but Tavares keeps moving.
Tavares wants to get back to his feet but Horton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tavares wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Horton is now in half guard.
Horton in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tavares tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Horton!
