Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bongbong Marcos Bangag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Wolfe!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Bruno Hogan and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolfe misses the shot to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Bangag has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bangag connects with a body shot that sends Wolfe's belly button to the back.
Bangag paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bangag's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wolfe under the eye.

Bangag rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wolfe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wolfe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bangag stalks Wolfe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wolfe's face. Wolfe staggers backwards, shaken.
A nice combination there by Bangag.

Wolfe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bangag throws out the jab.

Wolfe is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bangag rather than just go for the knockout.

Bangag scores with a sloppy right hand. Wolfe should have avoided that one.
Bangag slips under a jab.
It looked like Bangag wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bangag lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wolfe misses with a hook to the body
and Bangag counters with a three punch combo that has Wolfe backing up. Wolfe nods at Bangag to acknowledge the strikes.

and Wolfe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bangag is trying to escape back to his feet but Wolfe uses the scramble to pass into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wolfe has an Americana. Bangag didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Wolfe is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Wolfe hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
