Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hans Peter Baxxter (ranked 3043 p4p, 1875 weight class) and Dill Nickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baxxter comes to the cage accompanied by Weekend, Scooter. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Hans Peter Baxxter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dill Nickle!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baxxter's guard.
Nickle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Nickle postures up in Baxxter's guard and throws a big left but Baxxter blocks it.
Nickle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Baxxter looking for a sweep. Not yet Baxxter, not yet.
Nickle is looking to work some ground and pound but Baxxter has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nickle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Nickle throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nickle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Baxxter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nickle is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Nickle stands and throws Baxxter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nickle in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Nickle landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Nickle trying to control the position but Baxxter is working away.
Nickle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baxxter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nickle creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
A lull in the action here as Nickle stalls from top position.
Baxxter wants to control but Nickle postures up.

Baxxter is looking to regain half guard here but Nickle keeps moving and retains side control.
Baxxter gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Nickle is trying to work for a kimura but Baxxter is defending well.
Nickle wants to free his trapped foot but Baxxter is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nickle connects with a nice short shot to Baxxter's temple.

Nickle is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Nickle moves nicely into side control.
Nickle just content to control the position.
Nickle working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Baxxter taking punishment in the form of punches.
Nickle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nickle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Baxxter, who protects the arm well.
Nickle in side control, throwing shots but Baxxter defends.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dill Nickle dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Baxxter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dill Nickle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nickle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baxxter circles away quickly and effectively.
Baxxter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Baxxter lands a nice hook to Nickle's body. Nickle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Baxxter lands a slapping body shot.
Nickle lands a body shot.
Nickle gets the takedown into side control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nickle wants to control but Baxxter is keeping him busy.

Nickle is looking to take a break and control but Baxxter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nickle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Nickle lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Baxxter down.
Nickle connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Baxxter some visible discomfort.
Nickle has hold of Baxxter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Baxxter seems comfortable defending it but Nickle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Baxxter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Baxxter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nickle couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dill Nickle!
After winning the bout, Dill Nickle thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
