Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tatsura Konogawa (ranked 24916 p4p, 3778 weight class) and Restu Aji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Restu Aji told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tatsura Konogawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Restu Aji! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aji with a lazy takedown attempt and Konogawa counters with a three punch combo that has Aji backing up. Aji nods at Konogawa to acknowledge the strikes. Aji lands with a kick to the temple. Konogawa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A head kick misses from Konogawa. Konogawa throws a sloppy head kick and Aji moves out of range easily. Aji tries to counter by closing the distance. Aji moves into the clinch successfully.
Aji tries to score a body lock takedown but Konogawa shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Konogawa blocks a body shot from Aji. Aji tries to counter by closing the distance. Restu Aji has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tatsura Konogawa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Konogawa shoots for a takedown but Aji saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Tatsura Konogawa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Konogawa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
