Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rich Mahogany (ranked 1518 p4p, 1685 weight class) and Angelo Moore (ranked 195 p4p, 215 weight class). Mahogany comes into the arena with Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Mahogany! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 42 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angelo Moore! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Rich Mahogany seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mahogany shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moore defends it nicely. Moore looks like he wants to counter punch here. Mahogany shoots in looking for a double leg takedown.  It looks like Rich Mahogany has been cut. Mahogany shoots for a double leg takedown but Moore sprawls well. He's pushed Mahogany's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Mahogany. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore throws a big shot that misses. Mahogany throws the left hand but Moore avoids the punch easily. Mahogany misses with a wild body shot. Mahogany uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Moore has time to react.

Moore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Moore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mahogany stops Moore from standing up. Mahogany is looking to work some ground and pound but Moore has wrist control. Mahogany wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving. Moore wants to stand and escape but Mahogany is having none of it. Moore is pulling down on Mahogany's head to control his posture.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moore keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Moore checks the leg kick.

Mahogany drives through with a takedown into Moore's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Moore has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Mahogany is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mahogany tries to score a body lock takedown but Moore shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Moore wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mahogany has him pressed against the cage. Moore letting Mahogany take a breather here. Mahogany prevents Moore from breaking the clinch. Moore looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Moore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mahogany throws a head kick that misses.
Mahogany drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moore tries to improve position but can't.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahogany wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Moore's face as Mahogany controls the position. Mahogany is looking to take a break and control but Moore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moore tries to buck Mahogany off but Mahogany is having none of it. Moore keeps trying to improve his position. Moore pushes Mahogany away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mahogany gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Moore is trying to control Mahogany's posture but Mahogany avoids it. Moore is trying to improve his position. Moore can't do much from the bottom here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mahogany throwing shots but missing, from side control. Mahogany works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Mahogany connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Moore some visible discomfort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mahogany landing a few strikes. Moore is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Mahogany scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Moore to see if he's OK. Mahogany just content to control the position.
Mahogany is trying to get an arm triangle but Moore is defending well. Moore is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Mahogany wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy. Moore taking punishment in the form of punches.

Rich Mahogany dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Nice body punch from Mahogany. Mahogany connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Mahogany has his takedown stuffed and Moore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Mahogany throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Moore only half commits to the counter leg kick. Mahogany lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mahogany throws a head kick but Moore moves out of range.

Moore scores with a sloppy right hand. Mahogany should have avoided that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big left from Moore misses. Mahogany shoots for a takedown but Moore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A little jabbing left from Moore on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Moore scores with a hook. Mahogany throws a poor cross that misses
and Moore counters with a stiff right hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mahogany keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Moore. Mahogany throws a body shot but no joy. That kick from Moore tenderised Mahogany's leg. Mahogany is trying to keep his angry face on. Moore misses with an uppercut. Mahogany tries to counter by clinching up but Moore breaks away and moves out of range. Angelo Moore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Moore misses with a straight left. Moore throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mahogany on the side of the head. Moore is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mahogany. Mahogany misses with a wild body shot.
Moore feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mahogany sprawling to the canvas! Mahogany rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Moore finish him?!
 Mahogany is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mahogany misses with an uppercut. Moore saw that one coming. Oh Mahogany is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mahogany avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mahogany seems to have got his legs back now. Mahogany digs a good hook to Moore's body.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mahogany. Mahogany moves out of range of the strikes. Mahogany throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Moore's head.
Mahogany is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moore's half guard.
Moore makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Mahogany shoots in but Moore avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Mahogany. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moore swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Moore paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahogany throws a combination that misses and Moore counters with a lovely straight right hand! Angelo Moore seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mahogany feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Moore keeping moving, preventing Mahogany from controlling successfully. Mahogany not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Moore is trying to control the position but Mahogany postures up. Moore avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Moore trying to keep a closed guard but Mahogany is proving a slippery customer.
Mahogany stays in close to Moore's body and controls the position. Mahogany throwing strikes but missing. Mahogany stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moore swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mahogany trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore is looking to stand up but Mahogany isn't so interested in that idea. Moore controls Mahogany momentarily but Mahogany frees himself. Mahogany controlling from the top position. Moore is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mahogany scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mahogany lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Mahogany is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mahogany connects with a couple of short punches. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Angelo Moore will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Moore does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Moore throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mahogany on the side of the head. Moore tries to land a leg kick but Mahogany saw it coming and moves away.
Moore has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Rich Mahogany overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Moore trying to keep a closed guard but Mahogany is proving a slippery customer.

Moore is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Mahogany scoring with punches and elbows. Mahogany cracks Moore with an elbow. That is naaassty. Mahogany lands a few punches from side control. Mahogany throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Mahogany is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moore has escaped the position, nice work there. Moore can't do much from the bottom here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahogany cracks Moore with a big right hand but Moore just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Moore is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The referee asks Mahogany politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mahogany prefers to stall for the moment though. Mahogany scores with punches from side control. Mahogany landing strikes. Mahogany prevents Moore from escaping the position.

Mahogany is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Moore sees it coming and defends easily. Moore is trying to get back to full guard. Mahogany not landing any meaningful shots this time. Moore wants to get back to his feet. Mahogany has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Moore is not content to let Mahogany control the position. Moore wants to get back to full guard. Mahogany wants to take a breather but Moore is having none of it. Moore is trying to maintain the position but Mahogany is very close to passing his half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mahogany trying to control the pace. Mahogany is keen to just control but Moore is a slippery customer.
