Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Ricky Hatton (ranked 3493 p4p, 2850 weight class) and Remington Boone (ranked 280 p4p, 237 weight class). Remington Boone struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Remington Boone looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Hatton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Remington Boone!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hatton counters with a series of strikes. Boone will be more careful next time no doubt.
Hatton moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Nice defenses there by Hatton.
Hatton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hatton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hatton lands a head kick that bluckles Boone and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Hatton no doubt looking to push for a finish!
Boone is rocked!

and Hatton counters with a nice uppercut.
Boone is still on wobbly legs! Can Hatton finish him?
Hatton scores with a kick to the body.
Hatton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hatton scores with a push kick.
Boone seems to have recovered his senses.
Hatton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boone, pushing him back against the ropes.
Boone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hatton.
Hatton on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Boone can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boone tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hatton looking to throw knees to the head but Boone is blocking nicely.
Hatton connects with a nasty looking knee right to Boone's face.

Hatton lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hatton lands an uppercut.
Hatton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boone tries to clinch but Hatton moves away
and as Boone looks to reset his feet, Hatton counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending Boone crashing to the canvas! Boone is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but Boone is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! Hatton is your winner!
