Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Last Nightmare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mabuz Bacia!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacia looks to land a right hand but Nightmare moved out of range.
Bacia pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bacia rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nightmare counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bacia throws a head kick that misses
and Nightmare counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Mabuz Bacia has been cut.
Nightmare on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Nightmare tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bacia was well out of range. Poor timing from Nightmare.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bacia uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bacia throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Nightmare to counter with a crisp jab.
Bacia missing with a left hand there. Nightmare was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bacia throws a leg kick which misses Nightmare's front leg but catches the back leg as Nightmare tries to avoid it.
Bacia getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bacia looks to land a combination but Nightmare avoids it well.
It looked like Nightmare was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bacia.
Nightmare looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mabuz Bacia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bacia cracks Nightmare with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bacia has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nightmare to stand back up!
Nightmare is rocked!
Bacia knocks out Nightmare with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Bacia before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Bacia picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mabuz Bacia!
