Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexzander Cuevas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nestor Makhno!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makhno lands a right hook to the body.
Cuevas misses with a low kick.
Makhno fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cuevas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cuevas tries to bum rush Makhno with a series of wild strikes but Makhno uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Makhno lands a left and a right that send Cuevas crashing to the mat, dazed. Makhno thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cuevas is rocked!
It looks like Alexzander Cuevas has been cut.
Alexzander Cuevas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cuevas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Cuevas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cuevas is breathing heavily.
Makhno lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Cuevas head around and knocks him out cold! Makhno hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nestor Makhno!
A relieved looking Nestor Makhno thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
