Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulie Soprano (ranked 2703 p4p, 2214 weight class) and Porridge Wog (ranked 329 p4p, 282 weight class). Paulie Soprano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulie Soprano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Porridge Wog!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wog throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Soprano takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Soprano throws a lazy right hand but Wog sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wog lands a right hook to the body.
Soprano slips under a jab.
Wog throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wog. Soprano does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wog slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wog just misses with a punch to the body.
Wog has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Soprano is landing a low percentage of strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soprano keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Soprano on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Wog shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Soprano's guard.
Soprano is looking for a triangle but Wog pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Soprano looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wog postures up in Soprano's guard and throws a big left but Soprano blocks it.
Wog wants to control from the top but Soprano keeps moving.
Wog distracts Soprano with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Soprano keeping moving, preventing Wog from controlling successfully.
Wog scoring with punches to the head and body.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wog trying to control the position from guard on top but Soprano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wog passes Soprano's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Soprano has hold of Wog's hands but Wog slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Soprano on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Soprano is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wog's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wog's back!
Wog is really stuck here.
Soprano is trying to stick to Wog's back but Wog is turning into Soprano. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Soprano's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wog.
Soprano looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wog passes Soprano's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Wog is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Soprano doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wog.

Wog is trying to control the action in half guard but Soprano is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wog scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Wog takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Wog is keen to just control but Soprano is a slippery customer.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wog moves nicely into side control.
Wog moves into full mount!
Wog goes for an armbar but Soprano turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Soprano.

Wog looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Soprano wants to pass the guard but Wog is keeping the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Porridge Wog dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wog lands with an uppercut that bounces Soprano off the cage and back into range.
Wog fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Soprano manages to avoid it.
Wog misses with a shot to the body
and Soprano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wog swings for the body but Soprano moves out of range.
Wog swings away with a body shot that misses
and Soprano counters with a right hand to the body.
Wog scores with a jab.

A countering left hand to the body from Wog misses.
Soprano misses with a hook. Wog ducked under it nicely.
Soprano lands the left hand.
Wog connects with a body shot.
Wog is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Soprano rather than just go for the knockout.

Wog misses with a low kick.
Wog closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Soprano quickly recovers to half guard.
Wog trying to control from half guard but Soprano is working away.
Wog seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Soprano is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
