Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Jurkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and O Shea Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurkowski comes into the arena with Bezimienni - GARDA blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, O Shea Jackson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a big shot that misses.
Jurkowski blocks a jab.
A swing and a miss from Jackson.
Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Jurkowski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jurkowski is looking to clinch.
Jurkowski tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

Jurkowski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jurkowski was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Jackson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jurkowski sees it coming and avoids it easily.
O Shea Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jurkowski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Jurkowski is just out of range.
Jackson throws the left hand but Jurkowski avoids the punch easily.
Jurkowski moves out of range as Jackson strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Jurkowski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson cracks Jurkowski with an uppercut from hell and Jurkowski crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jackson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Oh Jurkowski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jurkowski seems to have got his legs back now.
Jackson misses with an uppercut. Jurkowski saw that one coming.

Jurkowski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jurkowski creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jackson's defenses.
A frustrated look appears on Jurkowski's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jackson pushes Jurkowski back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.


Lukasz Jurkowski's cut is getting worse.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jackson.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Jackson misses the target.

Jurkowski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jackson looks gassed!

Jackson strikes from the bottom but Jurkowski passes into mount!
Jackson is trying to reverse the position but instead Jurkowski has taken his back - oops!

Jurkowski is really struggling to control Jackson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jackson keeps control of Jurkowski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A body shot lands from Jackson.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jurkowski backwards.
Jackson lands with a short shot to the head.
Jackson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jurkowski backwards.
Jackson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Jackson dips a shoulder and cracks Jurkowski with a mighty uppercut! Jurkowski falls back against the cage and Jackson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jurkowski is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jackson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). O Shea Jackson!
