Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Bjorkman (ranked 325 p4p, 735 weight class) and Lamar Karter (ranked 19 p4p, 40 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Bjorkman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lamar Karter!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjorkman throws an off balance right hand
and Karter counters with a good low kick that Bjorkman was not able to check.
Karter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Lamar Karter has been cut.
Karter takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Karter drops his hands momentarily and Bjorkman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Karter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Karter's coach down at Tran MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Karter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Karter counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bjorkman! Karter lets Bjorkman back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Daniel Bjorkman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Karter counters with a nice right hand that sends Bjorkman toppling to the canvas! Bjorkman scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Karter finish him?!

Oh Bjorkman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Daniel Bjorkman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bjorkman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Karter.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karter lands a big uppercut and Bjorkman crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bjorkman looks OK. Karter waves Bjorkman back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BAM! Karter delivers a spinning backfist that drops Bjorkman like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
