The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilmarinen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Barkley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Sisu Ilmarinen has been cut.
Ilmarinen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Ilmarinen cracks Barkley with a right hand to the side of the head.
Barkley misses with a head kick.
Barkley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ilmarinen throws out the jab.
Sisu Ilmarinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Barkley counters with a straight right hand.
Barkley takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ilmarinen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ilmarinen cracks Barkley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ilmarinen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barkley to stand back up!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barkley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ilmarinen. That did some damage!
Ilmarinen drops Barkley with a huge uppercut! Barkley drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ilmarinen is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sisu Ilmarinen!
