Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Kenny Yurchon (ranked 3747 p4p, 4429 weight class) and Joel Dailey (ranked 289 p4p, 320 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenny Yurchon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joel Dailey! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yurchon throws a lazy right hand but Dailey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yurchon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dailey looks to land a combination but Yurchon avoids it well. Dailey lands a jab to the nose. Yurchon throws an overhand right that lands on Dailey's shoulder, as Dailey tries to avoid the shot. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dailey! But no joy. Dailey slips a straight right by Yurchon. A jab lands there for Yurchon. Kenny Yurchon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dailey jabbing away but nothing is landing. Yurchon throws out a loose jab but Dailey uses good head movement to avoid it. Yurchon throws a big shot that misses. Dailey lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Yurchon at a distance.
Yurchon loads up on a big right hand but Dailey slips the punch. Dailey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yurchon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Dailey thuds his right hand into Yurchon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dailey avoids the body shot from Yurchon.
Yurchon throws an off balance right hand
and Dailey counters with a straight right hand. Yurchon misses with a body shot.
A slow jab from Yurchon misses its intended target. Dailey misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yurchon misses the jab. Yurchon misses the jab. Dailey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dailey cracks Yurchon with a good jab. Yurchon getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Yurchon misses with a straight right. Dailey dips to his left and cracks Yurchon with an uppercut! Dailey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dailey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dailey moves away from the strike by Yurchon. Dailey ducks under a wild hook from Yurchon. Dailey avoids the body shot from Yurchon.
Dailey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yurchon. Yurchon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dailey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dailey lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dailey staying out of range there. Yurchon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dailey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Yurchon is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. BAM! Dailey delivers a spinning backfist that drops Yurchon like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
