Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kouassi Fofano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zachary Meadows! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fofano gets a double leg takedown into Meadows's guard. Fofano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fofano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Meadows really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fofano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fofano sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Meadows's guard. Fofano is looking for a kimura here.
Fofano is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Meadows sees it coming and defends easily. Fofano looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fofano is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Meadows defends it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meadows actively working from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meadows is looking to control Fofano's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Meadows avoid being mounted? Fofano is looking for a kimura here.

Fofano is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fofano is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fofano is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Meadows trying to control here.

Fofano maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Meadows could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Fofano has cracked it and Meadows is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Fofano!
