Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Navin Haynes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enzo Fields!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes throws a left and a right that both miss

and Fields moves into the clinch.

Fields breaks from the clinch.
Fields scores with a hook to the body. Haynes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Haynes misses with a combination
and Fields counters with a one-two to the body.

Fields closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Haynes quickly recovers to half guard.
Haynes scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Fields manages to mount him!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fields tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Haynes is trying to stand.
BOOM! Fields connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Fields has hold of Haynes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Haynes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fields controlling his opponent.
Let's hope that Fields has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Fields might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Haynes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fields with a couple of short strikes.
Fields takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee warns Haynes that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fields lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fields controlling the pace for now.
Fields's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Fields is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Fields!
