Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ripaul Varleansavage (ranked 3825 p4p, 3884 weight class) and Popeye Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Varleansavage might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Original Theme. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Popeye Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson rushes Varleansavage and presses him up against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Varleansavage as the two fighters clinch.
Varleansavage lands a good knee to the midsection. Anderson won't want to take too many of those.
Anderson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Varleansavage.
Varleansavage turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Varleansavage lands an elbow.
It looks like Popeye Anderson has been cut.
Anderson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That has opened up Popeye Anderson's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Popeye Anderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ripaul Varleansavage!
After the fight, Ripaul Varleansavage was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
