The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvaratskhelia shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kvaratskhelia darts in looking for a takedown but White gets double underhooks and turns Kvaratskhelia into the cage.
Kvaratskhelia is looking for a takedown up against the cage. White gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giorgi Kvaratskhelia. That's going to take a lot out of him.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

After the fight, Giorgi Kvaratskhelia was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
