Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Cahill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cahill stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hudson misses with an uppercut. Cahill saw that one coming.

Hudson closes the distance and clinches.
Cahill is trying to pull guard but Hudson has him pressed against the cage.
Hudson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cahill drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hudson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cahill trying to control the position but instead, Hudson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cahill into the cage.
Cahill tries to pull guard but Hudson won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Cahill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right hook to the body lands for Hudson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hudson gets through Cahill's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cahill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hudson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hudson can't find room to land a body shot as Cahill controls the action.
Cahill tries to pull guard but Hudson holds him up against the cage and eventually Cahill drops back down to his feet.
Cahill tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cahill tries to pull guard but Hudson won't allow it.

Cahill jumps guard but Hudson stands there with Cahill around his waist. Cahill gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hudson lands with a light punch inside.
Hudson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cahill drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Cahill decides to pull guard.
Hudson wants to stand but Cahill has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cahill had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hudson defends it easily.

Cahill looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Cahill is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hudson rolls with it to try and escape but Cahill cranks on the arm and Hudson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
