Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kartiko Tiko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Huang!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiko misses with a combination
and Huang counters with a shoot takedown. Tiko fights it but they end up in guard.
Huang controlling from the top position.
Huang with a flurry of punches that miss.
Huang lands a couple of elbows.
Huang postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Huang advances to half guard.
Tiko is breathing heavily.
Huang controlling the action here.
It looks like Huang might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Huang's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Huang moves nicely into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Tiko is looking to reverse the position.
Huang in side control lands a decent elbow.
Tiko taking a bit of punishment here - Huang scoring with strikes.

Huang stands up and beckons Tiko to his feet.
Huang looks to land a left hand but Tiko moved out of range nicely.
A combination from Huang does no damage.
Tiko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Huang sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Huang moves into range and clinches up with Tiko.
Tiko tries to break free but Huang pushes him back against the cage.
Tiko wants to get back to striking at distance but Huang won't allow it.
Huang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Huang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tiko tries to avoid it but Huang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tiko to the ground. Tiko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Huang shoots in for a double leg but Tiko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tiko is looking to counter punch.
Tiko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Huang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Huang's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Huang postures up and lands a big shot to Tiko's brow.
Huang pushing down on Tiko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Huang tries to land a front kick but Tiko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tiko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Huang.
Tiko is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Huang looks to land a combination but Tiko avoids it well.
Kartiko Tiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huang moves into the clinch.
Huang has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tiko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kartiko Tiko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Huang.
Tiko wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Huang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Huang darts in and clinches Tiko up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tiko misses with a double jab.
Huang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tiko sprawls well. Tiko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Huang gets slowly back to his feet.
Huang scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Tiko tries to kick Huang off in order to stand up. Huang Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Huang dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Huang forces Tiko back against the cage and clinches.
Huang prevents a body shot from Tiko.
Huang pulls guard successfully.
Huang has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Huang keeping moving, preventing Tiko from controlling successfully.
Tiko looking to sit in guard and control but Huang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Huang looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Huang passes Tiko's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Huang is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Huang looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tiko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Huang is working for a kimura but Tiko is defending it quite comfortably.
Huang content to control rather than advance.
Huang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tiko keeps working.
Huang might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tiko haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Huang works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huang controlling his opponent.
Tiko's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Huang is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tiko has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Huang landing strikes from the mount.
Huang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Huang has isolated one of Tiko's arms. Tiko looking to fight him off but Huang twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
