The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sforza misses with a double jab.
No luck for Escobar with that takedown attempt.
Sforza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Escobar circles away quickly and effectively.
Escobar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sforza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sforza stuffs the takedown.
Sforza lands a slapping body shot.
Aaron Escobar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A combination from Sforza does no damage.
Sforza throws out a loose jab but Escobar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Escobar misses with a few strikes there.

Escobar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sforza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sforza is looking to stand up but Escobar isn't so interested in that idea.

Escobar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sforza prevents Escobar from improving position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Escobar is putting a hurting on Sforza here, landing some big shots from side control.
Sforza can't do much from the bottom here.
Escobar wants to control but Sforza is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sforza's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Escobar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sforza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Escobar somewhat.
Sforza stuffs the takedown attempt from Escobar. Escobar gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sforza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Escobar.

Sforza Rushes Escobar and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Escobar is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Sforza Piles on the pressure and Escobar crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
