Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Hayes (ranked 5229 p4p, 25861 weight class) and Eduardo Matador (ranked 421 p4p, 471 weight class). Eduardo Matador will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matador throws a lazy right hand but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hayes appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Matador throws a jab but it's blocked by Hayes.
Hayes tries to clinch there but Matador circles away.
Hayes throws a head kick that misses.
Matador now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Matador stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Matador wants it to stay on the feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Matador has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Matador has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Eduardo Matador decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
