Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Hawthorne (ranked 3866 p4p, 3921 weight class) and Bad Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawthorne's entrance music is Don't Push Me - 50 Cent. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elliot Hawthorne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bad Boy! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hawthorne. Boy darts in and clinches Hawthorne up against the cage. Boy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hawthorne.
Hawthorne drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hawthorne shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hawthorne showed some decent athleticism there. Boy is looking to improve his position.
Boy is defending against the submission attempts here by Hawthorne.
Hawthorne seems to be working for a kimura but Boy defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawthorne trying to control the pace. Boy tries to roll over but Hawthorne keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hawthorne wants to take a breather but Boy is having none of it. Hawthorne content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Boy is not content to let Hawthorne control the position. Hawthorne is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hawthorne is thwarting Boy's attempts to control the position. Boy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hawthorne. Hawthorne is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hawthorne is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Boy as he works his way to full guard.
Hawthorne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hawthorne has managed to get both his arms back between Boy's legs - danger averted. Hawthorne stands and throws Boy's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy can't do much from the bottom here. Hawthorne wants to control but Boy is keeping him busy. Boy struggling a bit here. Hawthorne working the head with strikes. Hawthorne throws a strike aimed at the side of Boy's head but Boy avoids it well. Hawthorne tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hawthorne has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Boy can't do much from the bottom here. Hawthorne has hold of Boy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Boy seems comfortable defending it but Hawthorne has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Boy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Boy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hawthorne couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Elliot Hawthorne very nearly forgot to thank Warpath Wear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
