Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronan Darongo (ranked 551 p4p, 832 weight class) and Nikora Tama (ranked 78 p4p, 108 weight class). Darongo comes to the cage accompanied by Chaos And Destruction. Tama has chosen Haka War Dance as his entrance music. Ronan Darongo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronan Darongo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikora Tama!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Darongo misses.

and Darongo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Nikora Tama has been cut.

Tama is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Darongo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Darongo shrugs it off.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Tama is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Darongo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Darongo!

Darongo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tama on the side of the head.

Tama closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tama is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Darongo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tama shoots for a takedown but Darongo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tama throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Darongo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tama is in Darongo's guard.
Tama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Darongo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
