Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mana Makani (ranked 3942 p4p, 3781 weight class) and Gideon Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makani throws the left hand but Massey avoids the punch easily.
Massey slips under a jab from Makani.
Massey throws a body punch but Makani moves out of range.

Massey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Makani misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Makani tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Massey defends well and Makani ends up having to push Massey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Massey is pressed up against the cage. Makani has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Massey down to the mat. Massey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Massey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Makani stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oooooh!!! Massey has knocked Makani down with a huge combo! Massey steps away and waves a wobbly Makani back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Makani is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Massey throws a nice looking combination but Makani bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Despite the aggression on Massey's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Gideon Massey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Massey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
