Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabriele Ghiotto (ranked 1886 p4p, 2424 weight class) and Thad Thayer (ranked 137 p4p, 163 weight class). Gabriele Ghiotto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thayer looks to land a combination but Ghiotto avoids it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Thayer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ghiotto connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thayer scrambles back to his feet.

Thayer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ghiotto feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Thayers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Thayer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thayer throws an elbow but Ghiotto slips to the side and avoids it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thayer takes a little break here. Ghiotto wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Thayer swings around for an armbar but Ghiotto sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Thayer's guard.
