Chomofsky is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pervitin sees it coming and defends easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Chomofsky's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Pervitin reaches up to try and control the position but Chomofsky seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Pervitin rolls and tries to escape and now Chomofsky has his back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
You can see the frustration on Pervitin's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Pervitin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chomofsky defends well.

Pervitin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chomofsky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chomofsky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pervitin has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chomofsky is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pervitin.

Pervitin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Chomofsky off and cradles Pervitin's limp body as Chomofsky celebrates with his corner.
