The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Kiely has closed the distance and engaged Illir in a clinch.

Kiely tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Illir is trying to drag Kiely to the mat but Kiely just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
