Thule got a little sloppy there for a moment and Freeman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thule has managed to get both his arms back between Freeman's legs - danger averted.
Thule tries to free his leg and advance position but Freeman is retaining full guard.
Freeman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thule defends well.

Freeman is looking to reverse the position.
Thule is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Freeman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Freeman is looking to regain half guard here but Thule keeps moving and retains side control.
Thule tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thule thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Thule will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Freeman regains half guard.

Freeman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Thule pulls his head out easily.

Freeman is working to get back to half guard.

Thule is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Freeman has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Thule tightening his grip on Freeman, looking for the choke.
You can see the frustration on Freeman's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Thule is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Freeman won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Thule off his unconscious opponent!
