Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 22665 p4p, 5237 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Xxx Xxx has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 143 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 133 - 30 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. Fighter B was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Nice sprawl there from Fighter A as Fighter B shoots in. Fighter A tried to counter with a leg kick but Fighter B avoided it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B drives through with a takedown into Fighter A's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Fighter A pulls Fighter B in close to prevent any damage. Fighter A is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fighter B not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A managing to control the position. Fighter B preventing the sweep. Fighter B is stalling in the full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. It looks like Fighter B might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fighter B counters with a nice body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fighter B is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Fighter B throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fighter B is in Fighter A's guard. Fighter A manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Fighter B is defending well against a takedown attempt. Fighter A has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fighter B avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Fighter A changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fighter B fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter A or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter B, which made it look bad. Fighter A goes for a double leg but Fighter B avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter B continues to drive forward. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. Fighter B is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fighter A pulls him back up using the underhooks. Fighter A gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fighter B regains guard.
Xxx Xxx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A postures up in Fighter B's guard and throws a big left but Fighter B blocks it. Fighter B managing to control the position. Fighter B is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head to control his posture.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Fighter A. No joy for Fighter B on that attempt. Fighter B throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter A's waist but Fighter A gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter B off to one side. Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Fighter A misses with a low kick as Fighter B jumps back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B leaves Fighter A with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fighter B counters with a body kick. Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter B manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter A's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter B closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter A circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter B swivels and escapes. Fighter B dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter A sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Fighter A gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fighter B counters with a nice body kick.
Fighter A closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter A lands in his opponent's guard. Fighter B has control of Fighter A's left arm, preventing Fighter A from doing any damage. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B is looking to stand up but Fighter A isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B seems keen to control Fighter A's posture. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fighter A throws an elbow that misses. Fighter B uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter A's guard. Nice move by Fighter B! Fighter B throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B throws a big right hand that misses. Fighter B is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter A fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter B closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fighter A did well to prevent Fighter B getting side control. Fighter A wants to stand back up but Fighter B manages to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Fighter B taking a breather here.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
