Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josiah Baker (ranked 25144 p4p, 3777 weight class) and Marty Ossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ossman has chosen Roy Jones Jr. - Can't be touched as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Josiah Baker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josiah Baker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marty Ossman! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Baker tries a knee to the head but Ossman blocks it.
Baker being controlled against the cage. Baker prevents a body shot from Ossman. Ossman slowing the pace effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ossman prevents it.
Ossman scores with a shoulder strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ossman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Baker is trying to break free. Ossman doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Baker tries to stall but Ossman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Ossman turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The referee asks Ossman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ossman prefers to stall for the moment though. Baker is looking to regain half guard here but Ossman keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A control attempt from Baker but he's now mounted! Ossman content just to control the position here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ossman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Baker wants to hold on but Ossman pushes him away. Baker working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ossman raining down shots from the mount! Ossman controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baker is working to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ossman content just to control the position here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marty Ossman dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Baker ducks under a wild hook from Ossman. Ossman throws a shot from downtown. Baker moves away and avoids it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Baker tries to keep at a distance but Ossman has taken the fight into the clinch. Baker wants a takedown but no success here.
Ossman lands a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ossman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ossman manages to end up in side control. Ossman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Baker taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker tries to bench press Ossman off him but Ossman keeps the position. Baker is trying to get back to his feet. Ossman just content to control the position. Baker is trying to improve his position. Baker managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ossman.
Baker is looking for a sweep. Ossman has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A lull in the action here as Ossman stalls from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ossman's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker wants to control but Ossman postures up. Baker is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ossman controlling from side mount. Ossman working the ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ossman working away. Baker is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Baker is trying to control but can't.
Baker gets back to full guard.
Baker wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ossman sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ossman clinches with his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ossman stalls. Ossman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Baker backwards. Ossman struggles to land a body shot inside as Baker controls his hands.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ossman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Baker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ossman is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marty Ossman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Ossman looks for a takedown but Baker sprawls well. Marty Ossman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Baker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ossman throws a hook to the side of Baker's head but Baker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ossman clinches up with Baker and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker throws an elbow but it misses.
Baker pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ossman has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Baker is trying to keep an underhook but Ossman manages to get the takedown into half guard. Baker pushes Ossman off and gets back to his feet. Baker misses with a combination
and Ossman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ossman lands a body punch. Ossman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Baker's elbow. Ossman on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ossman lands with a short punch from the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action! Ossman gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Baker regains guard.
Baker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ossman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. More stalling from Ossman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Baker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ossman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Baker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Ossman to counter with a crisp jab. A big right from Ossman misses. Ossman takes the fight into the clinch. Baker looking for a takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A hook to the body from Ossman.
And that's the end of the fight! Marty Ossman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ossman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
