Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikheil Kvaratskhelia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eduardo Hanson! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanson drives through with a takedown into Kvaratskhelia's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kvaratskhelia is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hanson is aware though and is defending well. Kvaratskhelia is adopting a defensive guard. Kvaratskhelia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kvaratskhelia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hanson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hanson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kvaratskhelia bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kvaratskhelia working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kvaratskhelia scoring with punches to the head and body. Hanson has his feet on Kvaratskhelia's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hanson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kvaratskhelia quickly recovers to half guard. Kvaratskhelia tries to roll over but Hanson keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kvaratskhelia has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hanson is working away from the top position though. Kvaratskhelia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hanson pulls his head out easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hanson is thwarting Kvaratskhelia's attempts to control the position. Kvaratskhelia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kvaratskhelia tries to get out of the position. Kvaratskhelia looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kvaratskhelia gets back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kvaratskhelia has momentary wrist control but Hanson slips an elbow through the middle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Eduardo Hanson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Kvaratskhelia tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hanson defends well and Kvaratskhelia ends up having to push Hanson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hanson lands a hook that snaps the head of Kvaratskhelia backwards. Hanson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hanson scores with a nice hook to the head. Hanson breaks the clinch.
Kvaratskhelia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hanson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kvaratskhelia is looking to take a break and control but Hanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hanson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Kvaratskhelia scores with punches from side control. Kvaratskhelia in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hanson is looking to regain half guard here but Kvaratskhelia keeps moving and retains side control. Kvaratskhelia scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hanson to see if he's OK. Kvaratskhelia taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson tries to improve position but can't. Hanson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kvaratskhelia working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hanson struggling a bit here. Kvaratskhelia lands a few punches from side control. Kvaratskhelia landing a few strikes. Hanson on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Hanson wants to get back to his feet but Kvaratskhelia drags him back down. Kvaratskhelia controlling from side mount. Kvaratskhelia thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kvaratskhelia connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hanson some visible discomfort.
Hanson tries to escape back to his feet but Kvaratskhelia has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Hanson's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Hanson is tapping! Kvaratskhelia saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mikheil Kvaratskhelia! A very excited looking Mikheil Kvaratskhelia rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
