Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gray Dixon (ranked 3583 p4p, 2325 weight class) and Liu Xan (ranked 298 p4p, 202 weight class). Gray Dixon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gray Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liu Xan!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xan jabs at Dixon's body.
Xan looks to land a combination but Dixon avoids it well.
Dixon ducks under a wild hook from Xan.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Xan!
Xan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dixons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dixon misses with a takedown attempt - Xan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Xan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dixon tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Xan manages to circle out of the way.
Xan tries to sprawl but Dixon drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Xan is looking for a sweep. Dixon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Xan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dixon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dixon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Xan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dixon has managed to get both his arms back between Xan's legs - danger averted.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dixon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dixon is working Xan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Xan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dixon has picked Xan up and slammed him! Xan can't keep hold of the triangle and Dixon manages to pass to side control!

Dixon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Xan is looking for a sweep.
Xan sneaks back into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Xan is trying to maintain the position but Dixon is very close to passing his half guard.
Xan tries to get to full guard but Dixon has control of the leg.
Dixon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xan keeps working.
Xan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dixon pulls his head out easily.
Xan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dixon scores with a couple of nice shots.
Xan is staying active underneath Dixon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Dixon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Xan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dixon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dixon's back!
You can see the frustration on Dixon's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Xan patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Xan is hanging on to Dixon's back as he tries to escape.
Xan is looking for the choke from the back position but Dixon is controlling his hands well.
Xan working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Dixon is doing well to defend. Xan seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Dixon is forced to tap and this one is over!
