Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Wiggins (ranked 3770 p4p, 25481 weight class) and Joe Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Miranda is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joe Miranda!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins throws a left that rocks Miranda and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Wiggins dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Miranda regain composure!
It looks like Joe Miranda has been cut.
Miranda parries the strikes from Wiggins easily there. Wiggins is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Miranda to escape.
Wiggins throwing strikes but Miranda manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wiggins tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Miranda presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Miranda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wiggins as he jumps to the side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poor strikes thrown by Wiggins there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Wiggins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miranda can do to turn this around?
Wiggins misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wiggins loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Miranda scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Wiggins land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Wiggins stands and salutes the crowd.
