Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yngwie Goransson (ranked 2441 p4p, 2378 weight class) and Frank Capot (ranked 308 p4p, 297 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Yngwie Goransson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yngwie Goransson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yngwie Goransson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Capot!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goransson darts in and clinches Capot up against the cage.
Capot prevents a body shot from Goransson.

Goransson is trying to stall.
Goransson pulls guard successfully.
Capot content to stall in guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goransson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Capot controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Capot looking to sit in guard and control but Goransson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Capot looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Capot wants to sweep here but Goransson controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Goransson wants to stand and escape but instead Capot has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Capot forces his way into half guard.
Goransson looking for subs from the bottom but Capot mounts him!
Goransson stops Capot from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Capot can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Goransson is looking to escape.
Capot controlling the pace for now.

Capot wants to control the pace but Goransson is squirming around nicely.
Capot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Goransson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Goransson has given up his back here. Will Capot look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Capot working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Goransson is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Capot has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Goransson taps out!

After winning the bout, Frank Capot thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
