Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sumar Yurchon (ranked 3501 p4p, 2465 weight class) and Hiroshi Gomi (ranked 222 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi has chosen The Only Thing They Fear is You- DOOM Eternal OST as his entrance music. Hiroshi Gomi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hiroshi Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Yurchon throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gomi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yurchon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Gomi to counter with a crisp jab.
Yurchon throws a jab when Gomi was well out of range.
Yurchon swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Gomi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gomi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gomi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yurchon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomi was well out of range. Poor timing from Yurchon.

Yurchon drops his hands momentarily and Gomi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gomi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yurchon on the side of the head.

Oh Yurchon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sumar Yurchon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left and a right from Gomi both land. Nice combination.
Yurchon gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Gomi gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
