The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Eriksson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Eriksson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Eriksson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Monteiro Da Costa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eriksson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eriksson won't allow Monteiro Da Costa to sweep him here.
Eriksson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Eriksson seems to have locked his on tight now - Monteiro Da Costa screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Eriksson, as he picks up the win!
