Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Richie Aprile (ranked 1079 p4p, 1577 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 53 p4p, 48 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aprile takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Slim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aprile moves away.

and Slim finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aprile will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slim is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Aprile had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Slim has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Slim counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Slim is looking to clinch but Aprile is avoiding it.

Slim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Slim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slim tries to clinch up but Aprile circles away and keeps his distance.

Aprile throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Slim sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A frustrated look appears on Aprile's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Slim has Aprile pressed against the cage, preventing Aprile from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Aprile throws a big counter combination but Slim scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Aprile throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Slim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aprile was well out of range. Poor timing from Slim.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slim displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Aprile throws out the jab.

Slim cracks Aprile with a good jab.
Aprile throws a series of punches but Slim moves out of range.
Slim scores with a big combo that sends Aprile crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Aprile flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Slim jumps onto the cage and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barbados Slim!
A very excited looking Barbados Slim made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
