Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdowell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cutler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mcdowell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cutler to the mat! Cutler manages to get full guard.
Mcdowell postures up in Cutler's guard and throws a big left but Cutler blocks it.

Mcdowell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cutler is rocked!
Mcdowell lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cutler quite badly. Cutler pulls Mcdowell in close trying to recover. Mcdowell postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cutler on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cutler doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevon Mcdowell!
