Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kouassi Fofano (ranked 2634 p4p, 2973 weight class) and Cameron Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kouassi Fofano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cameron Flynn!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flynn gets a double leg takedown into Fofano's guard.
Fofano is looking for a triangle but Flynn pushes his legs off easily.
Flynn lands a couple of elbows.
Fofano could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fofano is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Flynn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fofano has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Flynn has managed to get both his arms back between Fofano's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flynn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Fofano is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Flynn defends well.
Flynn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Fofano is rocked!
Flynn cracks Fofano with a big right hand but Fofano just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Fofano is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flynn lands a strong strike to the head of Fofano. That's dazed him! Flynn looking to finish here. Fofano is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Flynn lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Flynn!
After winning the bout, Cameron Flynn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
