Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaven Randell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaven Randell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Lashley! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Lashley taking a breather. Randell tries to score a body lock takedown but Lashley shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lashley with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Randell tries to pull guard but Lashley holds him up against the cage and eventually Randell drops back down to his feet.
Lashley manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Lashley prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gaven Randell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lashley manages to break the clinch.
Lashley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Randell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lashley decides to stand back up. Randell could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Randell fails with the takedown and Lashley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Lashley wants to stand up but Randell has a hold of him and won't allow it. Randell preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lashley wants to stand but Randell has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randell is looking to control Lashley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Randell avoid being mounted? Randell pushes Lashley off looking to stand but Lashley dives back in and keeps control.
Lashley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lashley looks gassed! Lashley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Randell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lashley is working away from the top position though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Randell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lashley counters by clinching up. Randell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Randell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lashley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lashley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Randell is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randell slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Randell keeping moving, preventing Lashley from controlling successfully. Randell wants to stand up but Lashley is controlling him. Randell is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Randell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Randell landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randell decides to return to a standing position. Randell tries for a takedown but Lashley circles away easily and Lashley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lashley. Randell keeping moving, preventing Lashley from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Randell is on top in guard.
Randell trying to control but Lashley is working from the bottom. Lashley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lashley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lashley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Randell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lashley wants to stand and escape but Randell is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randell preventing the sweep.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Randell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Randell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lashley to his feet. Randell closes the distance and clinches up with Lashley, looking for a takedown. Randell pushes Lashley against the cage but Lashley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lashley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Randell shoots in but Lashley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Randell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lashley drives through with a takedown into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Randell is on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Randell gets to his feet. Lashley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Randell fails with the takedown and Lashley counters with a shoot takedown. Randell fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Lashley dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Randell closes the distance and clinches.
Randell is rocked! Lashley manages to pull guard.
Oh Randell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Randell preventing the sweep. Randell is fighting to break Lashley's control of his arms but Lashley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lashley is looking to stand up but Randell isn't so interested in that idea. Lashley throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Lashley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Randell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lashley pushes Randell off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Lashley takes the fight into the clinch. Lashley drags the fight down to the ground.
Lashley pulls Randell in close to prevent any damage. Lashley is looking for a triangle but Randell pushes his legs off easily.
Lashley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Randell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lashley is breathing heavily. Lashley working for a triangle but Randell defends it easily.
Lashley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lashley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lashley manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Randell misses with a takedown attempt and Lashley changes levels and lands a brilliant counter slam that knocks Randell senseless! The eyes are open but nobody's home! Lashley is victorious and celebrates with his fans in the crowd. Congratulations that man!
